Entering corrections or updates for films or actors

Sometimes, when I enter a Contribution (update, correction) for a film or an actor's bio I get a response that it was rejected for one reason or another. Yet, when I check it at a later date, I find that it was accepted and posted. There should be some way that IMDb can notify members, or indicate in their Update History, that the item's status was ultimately changed by IMDb and accepted after first having been rejected. Right now, the only way to know that IMDb ultimately reversed itself and accepted the Contribution is for the member to tediously go through each and every Contribution that had been rejected, initially. Perhaps IMDb might automatically re-post the Contribution, or notify the member that the Contribution has now been accepted and posted. Otherwise, they remain ignorant of the change in status of the Edit/Contribution - not right.

Not the case here. The contribution was in EXACTLY the same wording as was mine and I really doubt that anyone would have submitted a contribution EXACTLY like mine only now for a film from 1947.. It is impossible that the posted contribution could be from anyone else but me..

So, your explanation is in error. Can you offer another one?
