This seamed to be a problem with the user uploading the duplicate titles, extra steps have been taken with the user and a ticket was made to clean up all the wrong submissions just so you are aware of it might take some time to do so.

And still no clean-up was done by your editors as well. I deleted 3 of the titles from my above reply from 2 months ago myself but Endeavour and Grantchester did not have "Title Delete" option so I couldn't delete them. And they were not deleted with that "clean up" as well. So apparently that clean up was not performed.

I submitted deletion for 5 of these recent titles:

Thanks for pointing this out I have escalated the matter. I accepted the deletion requests, thanks for that. And we are aware the cleanup has not been done, the request is still pending but will be done.

@Bethanny​ There are definitely some oddities here. For example, this:

Magpie Murders On Masterpiece (TV Series 2022– )

A normal user can't add a title with a capitalized "On" like this, submission form would auto-correct it to "on", I think only a staff member can bypass these auto-corrections and I think this suggests that this title (and possibly others) was added by an IMDb editor. I also noticed these pages are instantly ended up on this IMDb-Editors list: https://www.imdb.com/list/ls561967342/

which would be another thing to suggest these might be added by a staffer.

Is that the reason "steps" did not work here?

@mbmb​ No this was not added by staff members, again the issue was escalated to stop it from happening.

@Michelle​ The problem with merging, rather than deleting, is that all the incorrect titles end up listed as Alternate Titles:

Also - I wouldn't know anything about how Masterpiece works, but should they really be listed as a production company?
