Duplicated IMDb page to melt and TV mini series to create

To clarify the issue further, did this mini-series ever air under the "Docs interdits" series banner?  Or was this mini-series only aired as a standalone series?

Hi Michelle, only the first episode was part of « Docs interdits », as currently registered on IMDb. The 2 others episodes did not: they were broadcasted as stand alone. Indeed, I think that the TV show « Docs interdits » stopped in 2017 or 2018. That could be a reason. But the 3 episodes together make a mini series on their own. So, what should we do?

I think about something. Is it possible to associate an episode (here, the first one named « Le Havre ») to 2 different series? If yes, it would solve the issue and we can melt the one currently apart (>>> https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9676894 <<<) into the other one (>>> https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5570158 <<<) that would be linked both to our mini series and to « Docs interdits ».

I am open to any suggestion in order to avoid this duplication and to properly add the 2 missing episodes

Thanks for the additional information.  One more issue that needs clarity, was the first episode ("La Hiver") first screened as a standalone title and later aired as part of the "Docs interdits" series, or vice versa?

Once we can clarify the above, it can then be determine which airing should be listed as a "shell episode" vs the original episode.

In the meantime, a new series title has been listed for "Edouard, mon pote de droite", and the remaining two missing episodes can be added to this series title.

This mini series of 3 documentaries, centered on Édouard Philippe, was originally directed independently from « Docs interdits ». After the shooting of the first episode, it went out in only 1 cinema in France (local release in the city of Le Havre) with a release date on the 23th of March 2016.

NB: The release date of the TV show you kindly created on IMDb should consequently be changed from « 2nd of March 2016 » to « 23th of March 2016 ».

Then, the first episode was bought and broadcasted on TV for the first time the 10th of August 2016 within « Docs interdits » series. This first episode was later broadcasted several other times on TV as a stand-alone (« Docs interdits » only broadcasted once in 2016).

But what I think is important to know is that this mini-series of documentary was not created for « Docs interdits », which only bought and broadcasted one episode. These 3 documentaries were made and financed independently from « Docs interdits ».

The 2 other episodes were not released in cinemas and went directly on TV in 2018 and 2021 as standalone.

Hi Michelle, in addition to the change of the release date for the first episode (cf my post here above), could you also please change the series title type from « TV series » to « TV mini-series »?

The title has now been adjusted to "TV-Mini-Series" and the first episode Release Date has been updated.

Regarding the episode listed under "Docs interdits", as this is a secondary screening, this should be listed as a shell episode of the original, as such I have now made those applicable updates.  All relevant episode details will now remain under the original release from the "Édouard, mon pote de droite" series.

Hi Michelle, thanks for all that you did with IMDb team regarding this documentary 🌷. I still have a question: what does it concretely mean to be a shell episode on IMDb? I thought you would have merged the 2 episodes, to avoid separate ratings/reviews for instance, but it is not the case
