Duplicate titles keep appearing

I added my film to IMDb, and then found out there was a duplicate title. This got deleted but so were the reviews the duplicate got.

I just got scorecard to add a video, and it was linked to another duplicate. So now there is the original title (with incorrect capitalisation, as I was following IMDb guidelines), with ratings, reviews, and photos; and the duplicate that has correct capitalisation, but no reviews or photos.

I have submitted a title merge, but I'm worried I'll lose reviews again. Also why does this happen? Does IMDb scrape data from other sites? Do I need to keep searching for more duplicates? It's damaging to a small business losing reviews, and having incomplete pages about your film (that people are seeing).

Thanks for the reply. I did this and the other title was just deleted, not merged. So now the trailer has gone, and I can't re-upload it because it says it already exists.

(edit) I have found the video linked to the deleted title, and deleted it, I can now upload to the correct title.

There is now a duplicate of me (the director) I have put in an edit for it to be deleted. Why is this happening?

It has duplicated the whole cast. This is so frustrating. The one thing that needed to be merged wasn't, and all the things that didn't have.
