In Progress

Duplicate created due to "shorts TV show"...

I've just added "Nosebleed", a short that's currently on MUBI, but didn't exist on the IMDb: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt32857809/reference/

Still populating the details there, only just added it.

Anyway, I then found out that the short DOES exist, but as an episode of a TV series: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7662352/reference/

Do I merge them? Should the TV show just link to the short (and all the other shorts?) After all, it's just an "umbrella" title, isn't it?

I don't normally duplicate titles, I do treble checks, but this one passed me by - sorry.

Hi @MovieCat -

Can you confirm how this film was first released?  If the short film was first released on it's own, then the episode should be listed as a shell-episode (we would allow for the two separate tile page listings, one as the original and the episode as a "shell").

Otherwise, if the film was first screened under the "Shortflix" umbrella, then the standalone title should be merged to the episode listing.

@Michelle Still digging, but Wiki suggest it was first broadcast as part of that series. It was shown at festivals first:

"In 2019, Carmoon made her first short film Nosebleed with Sky Arts and National Youth Theatre via their "shortFLIX" scheme, ran by Creative UK.[4] The film was screened at BFI London Film Festival and was broadcast on television the same year.[9]"
