Does the keyword "reenactment" work at series level?

The keyword reenactment in a documentary prompts the IMDb system to treat non-self credits in a cast list as acting credits.

Does that work at series level, or do I have to add the keyword to all the episodes? I recently added the keyword at series level to a documentary miniseries, and then added it to all the episodes for good measure. But is that necessary?
