Doctor Who (2005-2022) poster is incorrect
The current poster being used for Doctor Who (2005-2022) is not correct.

It is a poster for Doctor Who (2023-) featuring Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson, who do not appear in Doctor Who (2005-2022) in any capacity. The same problem happened with this previous poster for the show.

Both of these posters are for Doctor Who (2023-). You can even see that both iterations of Doctor Who, the (2005-2022) one and the (2023-) one, are currently using the exact same poster:

This is clearly not correct.
This is the current poster for Doctor Who (2005-2022) as used by the BBC on their official websites:

Not only is it current, but it is also much more appropriate for the series poster as it features the five lead actors who played The Doctor in this iteration of the show, as opposed to the IMDb poster which is not indicative of Doctor Who (2005-2022) in any capacity.
I tried to submit this change through the IMDb contributor process but was declined due to the reason “Does not meet contribution guidelines.” I hardly see how the current posters have been following those guidelines though. It states:
“For TV Series - The most iconic and widely-recognized poster, preferably from the original airing of the first season.”
By this metric, none of these posters should be eligible and we should be using the poster for Season 1 of Doctor Who (2005-2022) from 2005. But as we can see from basically every show on IMDb, including Doctor Who (1963-1989), the most recent and all-encompassing poster for a series is typically what is selected. In the case of Doctor Who (2005-2022), that would be the poster I have tried to submit with the five leads from this iteration of the show, just like the poster for Doctor Who (1963-1989).
I hope that this can be corrected.
