The average user rating of 7.1 seems too low based upon going through the individual user ratings. Is that possible?

"Going through individual ratings"?

Are you referring to Reviews?

Not everyone who Rates a title Reviews it.

you see the distribution of the ratings, and the unweighted mean is nearly identical to the weighted mean.

Thank you very much for your response. Yes, I was referring to reviews when I wrote ratings. Based on just eyeballing the individual reviews the average review seemed low but now that I look at them more closely the average review seems in line with them.
