Deliberately negative reviews sent it by trolls

I just watched the director's cut of MIDSUMMAR, which I thought was excellent.  

I think you've got trolls who haven't seen the film, and amuse themselves by sending in absurdly negative 'reviews' and giving it ratings of 1 or 2.

I've noticed this in reviews of new films in particular, and nowadays don't bother reading them at all.
