deletion of near-identical trivia item declined by unthinking bot

My submission to delete a trivia item because it duplicated another

item on the same page was declined. I don't understand why? Isn't

deletion of duplications a service to the Community? I feel my submission

was the victim of a bot acting without human oversight. (What else could

it be?)
