Deleting/Replacing Images

@Fran​ Hi, a bunch seemed to be declined. I don't mind starting over now. I have a big list of articles that I need to update their posters. As a result, I'm assuming I need to upload a new poster (which seems to not be working), pick said uploaded image as the new main poster, and then delete the older poster? In some cases, I accidentally uploaded the new posters as Production/Box Art, and deleting them isn't working either.

@Fran​ Here is an example of one that was approved for deletion but was not reflected... #260919-004710-695719. I'm not sure how to do what I mentioned above. I want to update a bunch of main posters, and I am unable to do so.

Thank you for posting the reference! Taking a look, I can see that this image is no longer live on the site.

You can upload the new poster and make sure to select the correct type before submitting, once you do yes, you can modify the existing poster and send a deletion request for the older one. Make sure to select the respective issue with the image and provide an explanation of why it needs to be removed. 

@Maya​ This is a problem I'm having. When I try to upload a new Poster, it gets declined, and when I try to delete another photo, it get's declined, even if I list the reason.

While this time they were not declined, the result should be the same photo now listed as a poster and thus allowing me to select it as the main poster, however, this does not happen. I also encountered this error previously.

The poster has been updated for the submissions you posted above. As per the error, we are unable to replicate. Are you still getting this error when selecting the edit icon?

@Maya​ Oh, it actually looks like it was finally placed as the correct poster. Since I need to update posters for more episodes, what is the best step-by-step approach that I should follow?

@drewmaru​ - Perfect! As a suggestion, first submit the new poster to the titles and wait until they have been processed and live on the site. Now, as the older ones are duplicated like the one example above, it is better to report them as such first. You can add the link of the newer poster as the explanation. 

As an extra suggestion as well, make sure that the correct type 'poster' is being selected for the updated images before submitting them. 

Thanks. I will do this one step at a time with episode 2. As of now, I've attempted to delete the extra one that is already there. It was meant to be the new poster but was accidentally uploaded not as a poster. It is currently pending deletion, and the reference number is #260929-214047-987219.

@Maya​ Is there a way to delete photos from the main series and not from the individual episodes? Also, is there a way to rework the order they appear in in the gallery/photos?

You can send a deletion request the same way for the images that are on the series page by reporting them through the flag icon. 

As per the image ordering, title page images cannot be ordered on the site. You can only use the filter selection on the top left corner of the gallery to view them by category (ie. type, person, other...).

@Maya​ So the new poster was uploaded (#261001-050612-753119), but it does not have an option for choosing it as the new main poster.
