Deleting Film Credits that Do Not Belong to Me - Please Help!

Hello, I have tried deleting multiple film credits from my IMDB Pro page (several acting, producing credits, sound credit) because they do not belong to me. I created my IMDB page in 2007 and I have currently four accurate credits on my page however there are 14 listed. I have submitted for these to be removed twice but was told it was declined because it could not be verified. How does one verify a credit that is not theirs? One of the submission numbers for 14 actress credit removals is 231203-175345-672000 One submission for 2 producer credits to remove is 231203-175558-080000 I have several more to delete beyond these two ticket submissions but was waiting to get these completed before submitting for more. I had successfully changed my IMDB Pro name to Erin C. Greer so this would stop happening and had the wrong bio information removed. However, when I submit to remove the projects I had no part in it was rejected. Can someone at IMDB please let me know how to remove credits that are not mine? I need my IMDB Pro page accurate as I have some upcoming projects to add that will have other industry professionals looking at my page. I do not want inaccurate information. I do not know how to submit verified proof I did not work on these. For clarity, the only projects that should be on my page are (2009) The Ramblers (directing credit); (2010) Complete (First Assistant Director credit); (2010) Ten Years Later (second second assistant director credit); and (2010) Super Hero Party Clown (Assistant Production Manager credit). ALL other credits are not mine. Thank you! -Erin C Greer

Dear Erin. The edit gets bounced because you're trying to do the wrong thing. If the credits are not yours (which is not exactly clear in your message, but I assume so anyways), the thing to do is to split the wrong credits into a separate name as per guidelines. By deleting the credits from your page you're making someone else's credits disappear from the database rather than be corrected. Naturally, IMDb has certain failsafes in order for that not to happen left and right, because it is a common problem with identically named people.

Hi @Erin_C_Greer, As @MykolaYeriomin mentioned above, you were unable to remove these credits as they belong to another name page with the same or similar name as yourself. We have identified where those credits should be merged to and made the appropriate updates. Your name page should now reflect your factual credit history. I hope this helps!
