Hi! My name is Will Jones and I am the Writer/Director of a film entitled Liquid Ice Ice Baby I have been trying to delete/correct a few credits, but to no avail -- my requests are always declined, even after submitting tangible information such as call sheets, etc. Could someone enter the page and delete/correct the following data: DELETE: Alan Arrivée...executive producer Jaye Sarah Davidson...executive producer Sarah Hennigan...executive producer Jonathan P. Smith...executive producer Zoe Frassinelli...first assistant camera Michael Barnett...special thanks CORRECT: Aidan Ray --> second assistant camera --> assistant camera Please let me know if you can help. Thank you!

Hello wjones020, Can you help us posting the 18-digits submission reference number in order to take a look for you? You can find the submission number on your Contribution History page.

Will: I don't understand. It looks like all the credits you are trying to delete or correct are already correct as they are. (Exception: Jonathan P. Smith should have an (as Jonathan Smith) attribute, which I will submit.) I'm not sure what the problem is, but once a film has been released, the credits are supposed to be "locked" for IMDb purposes and not changed after that. See https://youtu.be/r-H2y4pnHQY?t=176 for the credits sequence of this film. I have included screen captures below: I hope this helps.

@gromit82  I understand, but the people whose credits I am currently trying to delete/alter on IMDb no longer wish to be credited on IMDb, despite being credited in the film. I'm not sure how to take down the link to the film through IMDb and I am unable to re-edit the film's credits, as I do not have access to the original files.

Will: Thank you for this explanation, but I can't imagine why all these people are trying to drop out of your film at this time, as it is not an offensive or controversial production. At any rate, I can't imagine that you could promote the 2nd assistant camera person at this time after the film has already been released to the public. If Aidan Ray was your 2nd assistant camera person on the production and was credited as such, he can't get a better job on the same film now just because the 1st assistant camera person is trying to decline one of her credits.

@gromit82 Hi! I understand the questions, however, I can assure you there is nothing controversial about the production. I am a Film student in University and the names I wanted removed are members of the Film Production Faculty. One of my professors (Alan Arrivee) told me, after I had made the credits list, that the faculty’s rule is that they prefer not to be credit in student productions on IMDb, as it can get in the way of their professional goals in their respective fields if their first four IMDb credits are all student films.  The names can stay on the film itself, its festival run is pretty much over, but I’d greatly prefer if the names that I ask be deleted simply be deleted. I understand not being able to change the 1st assistant camera credit, but deletion/alteration of credits has never been an issue for me before until now. I will be more careful next time in filing credits for my films. Thank you!

@wjones020 Just for clarity, I watched the film, so that's why I said "it is not an offensive or controversial production." As to the faculty members wanting their credits to be removed, I believe you will have to wait for an IMDb staffer to give you a decision on that issue.

@gromit82 How exactly does that work? Will an IMDb staffer see this thread? Every request I have submitted has unfortunately been declined.

Will: The staff should see this thread. However, there is no particular schedule in which you could expect a response. It might come tomorrow; it might come in a few days. We don't have clear guidelines about how long is appropriate to wait before bumping the thread to bring it back up.
