declined edits to existing writing credits

I have late have had several writing credit edits declined as unable to verify, those edits purely in the vein of either moving what were those old credits that used to exist under Miscellaneous Crew (such as story editor), or splitting out what were combined credits in one line i.e. splitting out "story and screenplay" into two separate credits as per IMDb guidelines (from the Writers contributors guide: "Different jobs should be submitted as different credits, i.e. (story) and (screenplay) should be two separate submissions, even if they are displayed on the site together." in these splitting of writing functions, I submitted a link to a screen shot of the credit and still declined. These declined edits seem only to occur in situations where the crew is believed to be complete and if the person in question is already credited under the Writers' section (which is a given in that latter situation). Furthermore "edits" were accepted (changing "story and screenplay" to "story", or deleting what existed under Miscellaneous Crew), while the additions were rejected, making what exists now incorrect (at least before the change, the info was correct but in the wrong format.

In the first category, I moved all those functions that used to exist under Miscellaneous Crew to the Writers' section for the all episodes of Adam-12 (1968) [tt0062539]. Most of the moves were accepted again except those instances where the person in question was already credited in another Writing function.  The submissions numbers are and the failed moves are:
  • 200616-001327-338000 (moving Bryan Joseph [nm0430557]'s Executive Story Consultant role to the 3,1,1 position for episode 6.1 [tt0505273])
  • 200616-003026-701000 (moving Bryan Joseph [nm0430557]'s Executive Story Consultant role to the 3,1,1 position for all other applicable season 6 episodes, the only declined one being episode 6.20 [tt0505384])
  • 200618-001248-936000 (moving David H. Vowell [nm0903884]'s Story Editor role to the 4,1,1 position for episode 7.24 [tt0505380])
  • 200618-001556-603000 (moving David H. Vowell [nm0903884]'s Story Editor role to the 3,1,1 position for all other applicable season 7 episodes, the only declined ones being episodes 7.20 [tt0505369] and 7.23 [tt0505379])

In the second category:
  • 200629-173045-640000 - splitting out the story and screen play credits for Frank Partos [nm0664022] for Stranger on the Third Floor (1940) [tt0033107] (the only thing now missing being his screen play credit in what should be the 2,1,1 position)

  • 200703-172230-023000 - splitting out original story and screenplay credits for Aben Kandel [nm0437189] and Herman Cohen [nm0169432] for Berserk (1967) [tt0061398] (the only things now missing being Kandel's screenplay credit in the 2,1,1 position, and Cohen's screenplay credit in the 2,2,1 position).

I have had other older submissions with the same issue, but I thought I'd deal with these first.

One more writing credit declined in a slightly different vein.
200620-202105-912000 Trying to change Mark Herman [nm0379179]'s writing credit for The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (2008) [tt0914798] to "written for the screen by" as it appears onscreen.

Hi Gene -

Thanks for posting the relevant credit details and screen grabs, these credit updates have now been approved and should be live on the site shortly.

Michelle, I've had one more writing credit edit submission declined, again even with a screenshot of the credit provided.  It is for the movie Love the Coopers (2015), and for your information it was included within submission 210421-150140-306000. The person listed, Steven Rogers (II), is correct, but the accompanying info is not. I am not only trying to add the order number of 1,1,1, but that the credit appears on screen not as "screenplay" as it currently appears in IMDb, but rather "written by". Screenshot of the relevant frame in the movie:

Hi Gene -

Apologies for the delayed response, I just reviewed the Writer credit and can confirm that it is now listed correctly as "Written by" on the title page.

Cheers!
