Date of Rating

Month ago I switched from a 10 to 5 points system. There are more than 100 movies on my list that I want to change the rate. But if I change the rate, date of rating also changes with it. Is it possible to leave the original date unchaged?

IMDb has a scale from 1 to 10. How do you intend to change your  rating to a 5-point system?

@Peter_pbn Just rate movies from 1 to 5 point.

@schakhboz Our ratings scale runs from 1-10 as Peter notes; by rating any movie you consider excellent as 5/10 you will be dragging down its average rating.  If you want to vote from only 5 separate points we recommend you use 2/4/6/8/10 instead.

@Col_Needham Ok, thanks. But date of rating changes with it. How can I avoid this? I want to keep the old date

You can't. But it sounds like there is no reason to change the rating.

You can't keep the date of rating the same on IMDb, but if you want a permanent record for yourself you can go to Your Ratings and export them as an Excel document. Save that onto your computer and you will have a record of all of your ratings, including the date of rating. This way, you can change your ratings without losing all of that data.
