Date of Birth Addition Rejected Because "We didn't capture a specific reason during processing."

I attempted to add a Date of Birth. It was approved for awhile (and showed up on the site), but tonight it's gone. Now it's listed as declined and the reason given is:

"Your contribution has been declined.We didn't capture a specific reason during processing."

What does this mean?
