I’m trying to edit my IMDb so I go to the page and hit Édit. It asks me to log in. Which I do. Then I go to the page and hit Édit. Guess what? It asks me to log in etc etc I’m in a permanent loop... Grrrr

Sorry about this.  Your account looks in good order so we are not sure what to suggest.

You have filed this in the IMDb iOS app category -- are you trying to do this on a phone? It would be best to do this on a desktop / laptop, or if you have an iPad to use Safari on the iPad.  Only a limited number of sections can be easily updated using the mobile app.

Yes - I suppose I try to do too much on my iPhone as I’m always on the move and I have noticed that I keep having to log in on the iPhone whereas that’s not usually the case on the iPad and I’m rarely on my iMac. I’ve tried to change to my nom de guerre as writer and it did change once but changed back again. I’ve also noticed that changes on IMDbPro don’t automatically bubble back to the public IMDb. I’ve also tried to change the main pic and I’ve just done it again after your kind advice to mark it Poster in the pop down but it still hasn’t changed.

Hi Frank -

Regarding the image you reported above, the image is now listed on the site as a "poster" image.  Are you able to post the submission reference numbers associated with the primary update requests?  If not, can you clarify when you submitted the updates?

Thanks. Unlike other changes I think seems not to be included in the log but it was only a few days ago. Can you fix it your end?

Hi Frank -

I was able to take a further look and noticed that, as the image includes a watermark, it is ineligible to be listed on the site.  This particular image has been removed twice before, and was not accepted as a primary image due to the watermark, it has also now been removed again from the site.

If you are able to crop out the watermark and re-submit the image it will then be eligible and our staff would then be willing to accept the image as a primary poster for the title.

Hi Frank -

I'm happy to check the submission status for you and ensure it went through okay, can you just post the link to your IMDb Profile page here (for the account used to upload the image)?

If you are not certain where to access your Profile page, go to the IMDb home page here, make sure you are logged in and hover over your account name on the upper right-hand side of the page, a drop-down menu will display, click on "Your Activity" and you will be redirected to your Profile page.

Hi Frank -

By chance, is this the IMDb account you used to upload the image?

Unfortunately, without having your IMDb Account profile page I am unable to check the status on the image upload, however, if you successfully uploaded the image it will be reviewed by our editors within the next few days.  Cheers!

It supposed to go to Margery Booth: Thé Spy in the Eagle’s Nest. I’ve redone it with cropping plus correct size but it’s still not up yet.

Hi Frank -

As mentioned above, our staff will only be able to check the status of your upload if we know the submission reference number or the exact account that was used to submit the image.  Please let us know either the submission reference number or the link to your IMDb Account profile page, and our staff will be happy to take a look.

I don’t think poster uploads get a submission ref but it’s for Margery Booth: The Spy in the Eagle’s Nest. I cropped it as you suggested and it’s within the required resolution. It loaded without a problem but the poster still hasn’t been changed on the home page. Thanks
