Crush Hour Project Page Ownership

How do we track down creator of a specific project page? I work for a production company that recently released a podcast and someone has already created a page for the project that is not affiliated w/either Audible or Mercury Studios.

I have tried to contribute cast / crew credits to the existing page but they are being declined. Is it possible to flag this page for removal so that I can create the authentic one? Any help is appreciated, thank you!

Erin: Generally speaking, it doesn't matter who submitted a title for listing in IMDb, because that doesn't affect how other people can submit information to that page. In any event, IMDb would not release the name of the person who submitted the title, unless the submitter identified themself publicly or IMDb received as subpoena or court order or something like that.

The real questions are whether the data on the page is accurate, and why the cast and crew credits you are submitting are being declined. I would not advise trying to have the page deleted just so it can be re-created, as that would be a waste of effort.

Please post your last full data submission here on this message board. You can copy it out of the receipt you would have received from IMDb by e-mail immediately after sending it in. Some of the regulars on the board may review it and, if they can, they may provide suggestions as to how to improve the submission to get it included in the database. (Also, please include the submission reference number -- it's an 18-digit number that will look something like 220123-123456-789000.)

@erin_mcp Hi!

As @gromit82 said, it doesn't matter who submitted a title for listing in IMDb, because that doesn't affect how other people can submit information to that page.

Regarding the submissions, I checked most of them and they were not accepted as they were added to the parent page instead of to the episodes where credits should be added.

Cheers!

Thanks Bethanny!

Is there a reason that some of the cast / crew credits (Ellie Goulding, Omari Douglas etc) are appearing on the parent page while others were denied? Credits for series sound dept and writers seemed have been approved on the parent page as well...

I'm not sure I understand why that is?

Erin: My understanding is that cast and crew will generally be accepted at series level if they are submitted with the original submission of the series, since there would not be any episodes listed yet at that point.

But after that, once the series is listed in the database, it is much preferred to submit all credits at episode level. And, for that matter, even the cast and crew who were submitted at series level ought to be added to the particular episodes they worked on so their data will be accurate.
