Solved

credits not updating

all my credits after 2018 are not updating. IMDB accepted the same job role (in house producer for post production) on many tv shows but then after 2018, they just stopped even if i continued working on the same series after 2018.  how can i get my credits to update again?

You can submit them yourself. Perhaps someone else used to add credits for the shows.

@mike_roey So you refer to them not being accepted? Can we have your submission references to check?

Thanks!

what are my "submission references"?  the actual reciept of the submission to IMDB or just my credits?

@mike_roey The 18-digit submission reference on the receipt.

these submissions were no different than all of the others i submitted previously that did get published; around this same time, my colleagues submitted similar ones that did get accepted doing nothing different.

@mike_roey Hi! All submissions are from 2021 with no evidence of participation attached. Please resubmit with evidence for our editors to review.

Cheers!

what do you mean by evidence?  for all my other jobs, no evidence was needed AND my colleagues who worked on similar shows did not have to submit evidence.

@mike_roey Our editors use several different criteria to process data which are not disclosed. The best way to assure credits not to be rejected is attaching any of the evidence in the guides I linked for you.

Thanks!

so even tho all my previous credits and my colleagues who do the same thing didn't have to go thru that process, i now do?  yes?

Hello mike_roey,

There is nothing wrong with your account that would prevent data from being approved, we handle data on a case-by-case basis and in certain instance we may need further evidence in order to approve the submission.

Evidence is always recommended to be added, to prevent this situation and have the credits go through. You are free to re submit attaching the evidence, you can also post the submission numbers in the post and we can take a look for you.

Hi @mike_roey -

Generally, when we are unable to verify the information we will request further evidence be provided (this is quite common).

I was able to review an episode of the series "Call Me Kat" (for "First Date") and confirmed that your credit wasn't listed.  Keep in mind that if you worked on a series but your name was not credited on-screen, you will need to include the "uncredited" attribute when submitting these credits, you will also need to provide evidence to help verify the role you performed.

Coming into this a bit late...

But I've experienced the same issue with an older series I served as director, writer, producer, and actor.

My Pro account shows over 55 episode credits, while my IMDb profile remains at the same 8.  Shake my head.

Obviously none were rejected, so I don't know what the deal is. And there are too many receipt tickets to copy paste here for explanation.

@nettiegurl16

Pro pages are organized very differently from regular IMDb name pages, so my guess is that the same credits are just displayed differently?
