Credits are being deleted

I have been a contributor for over a decade and have added hundreds of credits for myself and others.   Recently someone has vandalized my page and discredited or deleted my work, but my contributions for others who did the same work that i did in stunts, credits that I’ve submitted for them, remains.   When I try to re add my credits, I get immediately denied within hours.   How do I restore my credits and ask that the malicious users be banned from altering my credits again?

Hi @brian_danner -

Have you been submitting your credits with valid evidence for our editors to verify? If so, can I have your 18-digit submission reference to check on it?

Thanks!

Yes, as best I can.  Some of these credits are over 10 to 20 years ago, so there’s no pay stub or call sheet.   I submit screen shots, and even video of my likeness in the production, even bts of me and it will often just get denied within hours.  Not sure what the team is looking at that tells them no.   There are credits I’ve submitted myself for others that didn’t require onscreen credit or paystubs that remain in the stunts category without the “uncredited” attribute, but mine got deleted by a malicious user.   Why can’t mine be restored when I’m the one who added someone else’s?   I’m being told that I need to provide proof, but again, it’s so long ago, all i might have is a photo.   Can no one look at my credits and see that the same person went in and vandalized mine with malice?

there is also an isssue that my company is credited for stunts and coordination for a show, but not individuals.   I’ve provided proof of ownership of the company, screenshots of us in the video, and even an email from the production confirming my work.   It still gets denied and deleted.

@brian_danner Please see our help guides on why credits could have been deleted. As well as our guidelines on what we consider acceptable evidence. If you have any submission you consider you have provided good evidence and needs to be re-checked, feel free to post your 18-digit submission reference here and I will gladly help you check on it.

Thanks for understanding.

@Bethanny I know the rules.  I'm wondering why someone who has a grudge gets their false claims approved without proof.

I have dozens of numbers to submit for change or reinstatement.  So please bear with me.

Thanks in advance for remedying these.    I'll post them here as I go

@Bethanny

take a look at this one.

#230925-164904-694000

Years ago, I added ALL the stunt credits to this and all of them remain but mine. 16 of them remain but mine was deleted.   I did "sword stunts" on this and was the assistant sword fight coordinator to Tim Weske (that credit should go under additional crew and was also deleted.)  can you please restore these for me.

@brian_danner I can see you uploaded it as credited, but I was unable to find you in the end credits, would you mind pointing out the timestamp on the video?

Thanks!

That's the point.  No stunts are credited because there are no end credits for stunts.  We were in fact hired by stunt coordinator Jon Moio, and if you look in the folder you can see bts shots of me working stunts.  Everyone pictured in my folder link was hired as sword stunts.  I'm in every photo with the people, who I trained and submitted as credited.  Their credits, which I submitted, remain.  Mine was deleted by someone.  I know who it was but won't put them publicly because of a grudge they have.

So please add me.  There are dozens of photos and there's footage of me fighting right near delpy and short, the leads of this movie.

So, I should be added to the same credit they get, or everyone in stunts should get changed to uncredited, which shouldn't be.  We worked hard on that film, and I'm one of 5 that went back the next day, which was Sept 11, 2001.  I knew exactly where I was that infamous day with Kevin Moran, Payson burt, and Charles currier and lance smith.  All sword stunts.

I’ve even taken screenshots of me fighting in the actual video.  If you watch the vid link, you’ll see all of us and can match them and that wardrobe to the stunt fights.

@brian_danner We can only do it as credited if there is an on-screen credit. Feel free to resubmit with same evidence as (uncredited). You should have no problems like that.

Thanks!

@Bethanny ok.  I'll resubmit then.

Can you provide a screenshot of the end credits you're looking at that prove the others are credited? Because I hired everyone whose IMDb credit remains.  I'd like to see why they remain and I don't.   Or will you be changing everyone else to uncredited as well?

@brian_danner If they are not credited feel free to submit corrections for the rest to (uncredited).

@Bethanny I'll do that as well.  But I just did exactly that on another project I'll be messaging you about, and it was denied. So, there is definitely something not right going on here.

This one.  There are no credits for this. I also just resubmitted with a ton of photo and video proof but it was denied.

Here's another one I just submitted.

There is literally a call sheet provided with my name listed as stunt coordinator, as per your guidelines, and it got denied.

This is ridiculous.  PLEASE help.

@brian_danner Hey!

230925-165726-291000- No evidence was provided, hence not accepted. You can use the evidence on the subs above to show there were no on-screen credits and feel free to use the link to this thread too so our editors understand why the change is being made.

230926-192437-055000- Problem relies again in submitting the credit as credited with no on-screen evidence.

In the help guides I pointed out before you will see none of the evidence you are sending in acceptable for credited positions.

Thanks!

@Bethanny thank you.  I know this is a lot, and I appreciate you sticking with me and helping.  I've resubmitted with uncredited as the attribute.  There just seems to be an arbitrary result based on who is evaluating.  Tons of credits exist as credited even if a project doesn't have stunt credits.  Does an authorized call sheet not count as proof of credit?

Here's one that got declined for uncredited, even though the link has overwhelming video footage of me doing the stunts, as well as photos on set.   I get that it isn't credited at the end, which lands it as uncredited, but even my submissions for THAT are getting denied.  I feel like my account is targeted.

That's me in the footage with the rest of the stunt team I've submitted.  I even marked the photos to label who is whom.

This is maddening.

@brian_danner I can confirm there is nothing wrong with your account, but in this case you submitted as uncredited which is great, but did not attach the evidence (maybe it didn't come through)
And of course I am here to help no need to worry about that. If you submit with (uncredited) and evidence you should encounter no problem, and of course if you received an on-screen credit feel free to send in a screenshot of that and we can your credit as credited.

Let me know if I can help with anything else :)

@Bethanny I’m going to focus on one project at a time until we get it right.  I’ve just resubmitted for CInemagique and in the “provide evidence and explanation” box,  i’ve added a link to the video on youtube and a link to a google drive with my personal videos and photos from set that can corroborate the time stamp of our work and show that no stunts are credited in the end credits.

Here are the 2 fresh submissions under evaluation so that you can monitor the progress:

230927-202956-328000

and

230927-201728-750000

Looking forward to conquering each of these together.   Again, thank you.

@brian_danner Submissions approved. Feel free to submit any other and let me know if you encounter any trouble, it would be good to mention you have to wait until the processing time is over, after that if submission is declined, let me know so I can help you.

Cheers!

this one is EXTREMELY infuriating.   I’ve shared a link to the call sheet for the first season, shot in one day, and it’s denied.  I get that it needs to be uncredited, which i added as an attribute, but what more needs to be done here?   I’m the stunt coordinator for the first 6 episodes.

230927-195920-895000

This one has a link of video proof of me being the fencing trainer for the episode.  Even has the leads refer to me that way.  Why would this one be denied, even if it’s uncredited?

230927-225247-642000

This is a credit that was altered maliciously a few years back to reduce my on camera work as an English Knight to simply “extra.”   This is not the case and I’ve provided overwhelming evidence.   Why was this declined?

230927-224137-384000

Same thing here.  The same guy reduced my role to “extra.”   (If there’s a way I could message you his name, so you can check his account, I’d appreciate it.   Just don’t want to name it publicly.) Both my stunt credit and my on screen role are denied, even with video proof, and even listed as uncredited.

This is enormously frustrating.  I’m following the rules, providing the proof, listing the attribute as uncredited as you’ve advised.

@brian_danner Hi!

The above are processing errors, I have reported them. I have also resubmitted on your behalf and approved.

Cheers!

OUTSTANDING!   I cannot thank you enough.

I’ve just updated 2 more projects and will circle back here after the processing completes to approved or declined.

Appreciate you and the hard work you’re doing.   I know I’m not the only person you’re helping or have helped, but I am just thrilled that after these years someone like you has taken the time to help me restore my true credits.  As you know, IMDB is the best resume and reference check for the industry.
