Solved

Credit spamming.

On the show Elsbeth, there was a recent report that 3 actors would guest in episodes set to air next year, but someone has mass spammed their names onto every episode of Season 2 so far, now I was going delete all 18 credits but then I thought you guys should look into how they got approved in the first place since all those casts were verified complete (some doubly so) and no proof exists that those 3 appeared in any of those episodes because they don't, so how was this allowed through. Take steps on the spammer too.

Theses are the 3 people.

Hello VonPunk,

According to: https://deadline.com/2024/11/sullivan-jones-ioan-gruffudd-alan-ruck-cast-elsbeth-season-2-1236178032/

The three actors are part of the Season 2, do you have on screen evidence to verify if the three actors were credited?

@Fran Yes, as I explained, that is casting for upcoming episodes that will air next year, later in Season 2, two will be guest stars that possibly will appear only once, the other is recurring. So far this year 5 episodes have aired and those 3 were not in or credited on any of them, not even cast when they were filmed.

you can check any episode of Season 2 so far here. https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/detail/B0DF6LVG5H/ref=atv_dp_season_select_s2

This is spam added by someone that doesn't watch the show or care, just translates press releases how they see fit to make up false submissions by adding false credits.

They were added to verified complete casts, created by some other reliable contributor and looked over by myself as well, these 18 credits should not have been approved, a press release of upcoming casting is not proof of anyone being in episodes that have already been aired.

Those 18 credits should be deleted and it looked into why they got approved. None of those names should be added until the episodes they guest in, are added to the site or have aired with their names on, which won't be till after the Christmas break.
