Solved

Credit placed into the wrong IMDb. Same name and last name (non related) two different countries.

I have a problem which I hope it would be rectified. Yesterday, I looked into my acting website (the agency that I am with) clicked onto the IMDb and found that there was an extra credit for a music video that I didn't participated in. Confused that I was, I went onto Youtube and watched the long music video. After it ended and showed the credits, there 3 members of the one family (Surname) that were mentioned and one of them had the exact name (first name) as me. I know this sounds very confusing but it is true.

I don't understand how this happened and why wasn't it checked thoroughly before placing onto IMdb. They should have realised that the IMDb is already owned. I should only have one credit not 2. Now, this shows that both of us with the same first name and last name have the one IMDb, which I was the first to have it back in 2017 by the production company that uploaded it.

Hi @Teresa1_ -

If the credit belongs to a different person with the same name, you will need to submit a credit correction to move the credit to a new/separate IMDb page.  For details instructions on how to move credits I encourage you to review our Help Guide.

Let us know if you have questions or encounter issues making the update.
