Hi MariaAmeliaPark,

In order for our staff to review, can you post the 18-digit submission reference numbers for these latest contributions?

Cheers!

I have my time cards for this character all the way up to episode 9. We are still recording the show so I will be recording her on Monday.

Thank you for posting the reference! Further reviewing, as per our episodic credit guidelines, episodic credits must be added to the respective episode or episodes the person appears on/has worked on and not the series parent page.

You are welcome to add the credits to the episode or episodes you have worked on through the contribution form.

For further detailed information and instructions on how to add episodic credits to an episode or multiple episodes all at once, I encourage you to review our following Help Guide. You can also review this other Help Guide on how to provide supporting evidence for credits.

So how do I do this? If she’s in all 12 episodes but Amazon Prime has only released the first three?

Sorry, but your process has become very convoluted. If you have a voice dubbing section, I do not understand why a character role that is reoccurring in every episode can just be posted once? I do not understand this at all.

@MariaAmeliaPark If I understand correctly, you have proof of participation in the first 9 episodes, right? If so, you can add your credits to those first 9 by sending the proof.

What might happen is that, since the official release is still on episode 3, not all episodes are available on IMDb yet. In that case, you would have to wait for new episodes to be added to add the credits correctly for each episode (or wait for everything to be released and send it to every episode at once).

I admit I'm confused by your statement that a recurring character can only be posted once. You can add the credits to all episodes in which you participated.

Before when I used to add a character, it was just to the series. Then you added voice dubbing categories, and it became very hard for all of us to navigate. I will have other projects coming out next month that will still be hard because even though I will have time cards, they may not have the credits correct which happens a lot with Studios and streaming networks.

@MariaAmeliaPark Just to be clear, I'm just a user, I'm not part of IMDb, I only contribute.

This rule about not adding credits to series level credits applies to all types of credits, not just "voice acting - dub". Even when adding someone in "cast", it's necessary to add them to the episode credits correctly.

Considering you mentioned it's an Amazon Prime production, I believe they add dub credits at the end of each episode, which could be used to prove your participation in the episode.

They did add dub credits, but they didn’t put our characters names. A majority of us got placed under additional voices, which is not true. If you check the French, German, Brazilian, etc., credits our characters names are there for some of them with their actors in those languages, but in the English version, they only credited three of the main cast, and everybody else got stuck under additional. We don’t know why but that’s what they do.

@MariaAmeliaPark Yes, I've seen this happen with the Brazilian dubbing cast as well. It's a real problem with streaming services, but at least it confirms your participation in the episode.

But I would like to point out that adding your name to each episode would actually be beneficial for you. If your name were approved at the series level due to some error, it would be buried below even those who only participated in one episode.

The fourth episode is dropping today, Since it’s already on Sunday So I will try to add to each episode like you suggested and hope that I do it right. I have the screenshots from each episode which literally looks the exact same but with episode numbers and I have the time cards if I need it.

I usually add the Brazilian voice actors and they generally accept just the screenshot (and I add the complete list). If they still reject it, I think it can be resolved by sending the 18-digit code here.

When you say you add the complete list…what do you mean?

@MariaAmeliaPark When I add the Brazilian voice actors, I usually include everyone who participated in the episode, and IMDb usually accepts a screenshot of the episode credits as evidence.
