CREDIT DENIED AGAIN

AGAIN.... Ive worked on a project FULL TIME for 12 months yet been denied a credit when putting it into IMDB.

No grounds reported and can anyone at IMDB verify all the other crew that have have their credits approved? How has a runner who's been on the job for a few days have a credit approved?? An extra playing the part of a lamp-post... APPROVED.

You haven't asked for proof but I'm sure a years worth of crew lists, my contract or 500 thousand production related emails might do??

Sort it out AGAIN please.

I'm not an IMDB employee, however to give you a head start on getting this resolve they will need information form you in order to fix the problem.  If you could provide the following information, I am sure someone can help you.

What is your page/name url?  What title page url that you need added to?  What is the submission reference number from when you submitted the information in?

Hello SingoLocations,

Can you please provide us with the 18-digits submission reference number? in order to take a look for you!

You can find the submission number on your Contribution History page.

@Fran

Here's the submission reference number.

230111-023347-373000

Seems like hundreds of crew have been approved...

Hello SingoLocations,

I have checked the submission number and it was rejected since no evidence (Call sheets, Pay stubs, Contracts)is attached to the submission for our editors to verify the credit eligibility.

We encourage you to re submit the credit with evidence for our editors to verify your credit is valid, you can take a look at our Help guide for what we consider good evidence.

@Fran Are IMDB allowed to see crew pay, crew lists and contracts?

As you're not part of that production, I'll think you'll find that's highly confidential information you aren't privy to. Why would any film industry professional send you their contract, or any other sensitive information explicitly not allowed to be shared as per their contract?

I'd like to take this matter further, as a long time contributor, as the information I provided (an excerpt of the Locations Department crew list) is more than satisfactory.

Furthermore you haven't actually explained why the credit was denied, and yet looking on the page I can see that you have credited people who don't actually have any other credits.

If you can't further this I will have to report it to the LMGI.

Thank you,

Dave

Hello SingoLocations,

Your credit was rejected since there was no provided evidence for our editors to make sure the credit is factual. Our aim is to be the most complete and reliable source of movie, TV, and entertainment information on the web - in order to achieve this, we can only accept submissions which are accurate & verifiable at the point of submission.

In order to make sure and double check that credits are factual, you may need to provide enough evidence along with your submission. If you're unable to provide sufficient supporting evidence, your request may be rejected - you would then need to re-submit with additional evidence.

For more details, you can take a look on our Help guides.

I'm sitting next to my Location Co-ordinator, on my next job, who didn't have to provide evidence and still got credited.

Can you explain whats going on here please?

@Fran I have never been asked to provide 'evidence' for any jobs I've done and Ive been in the industry for 20 years with 30+ credits...

Something weird going on here!

I can make sure that the credit has been approved and is listed on his page. In the meantime, for unreleased films/series, to ensure credits are approved, it's always best to include as much evidence as you can.

Thanks @Fran !

I appreciate your help, and I think the film will be pretty good! Everyone worked incredibly hard, and we managed to work in some Locations we've never been able to before!
