Country codes for joint venture companies
Not sure whether it's still obligatory, but almost every company on IMDb has a two-letter ISO country code attached.
I do wonder purely theoretically what one should do if country is explicitly a joint venture? It is an existing type of company, splitting the ownership between two countries and while not yet common in Ukraine's film industry, it is seemingly very possible for a film company to have such type. I mean, theoretically, there is a country of registration, but it being a joint venture it will inevitably be registered in both countries and a subject to taxes in both of them, too.
I kinda hoped The Cannon Group, Cannon Films and Golan-Globus Productions would shed some light, since I was under impression that it was Israeli-American joint venture, but apparently it was an American company registered under ownership of Israeli nationals, which is, of course, not the same.

Hi @MykolaYeriomin -
I'm following up here to confirm that when there is a joint venture company, we will assign the country code associated with the primary branch or headquarters. So whichever country the companies headquarters or primary branch is located in should be used.
I hope this helps!
