I'd like to use some of the photographs on your website of the 1947 film 'Sinbad the sailor'.

I'd like to use them to accompany a tune of my own creation about Sindbad, and upload the resulting video to YouTube.

I'm only a small player in this field.

I have no intention of making any money from this video.

I'd just like to do it for the sheer creativity of it.

Would I need to pay you some copyright dues?

If so, how much would it be?

Or could I use the photographs for free?

Lizzie: IMDb does not own the rights to those photographs. IMDb only has the right to use those photos on its own website, not to grant rights to other people to use them.

Consequently, IMDb are not the people who can give you permission to use those pictures.
