Copying credits should not include order and attributes from first episode of selected set
When adding credits to an episode there is an option to copy credits from a selected season or year. If you do that, it will copy all the data from the first credit for that person in that season/year (as far as I can tell). That is not always helpful. If the credit has been copied and approved but the order or attributes are not correct for the new episode, it can be difficult to get the credit fixed.
It would be better if the order and attributes were copied only if they are the same for all episodes in the selected set or if the most common values were selected rather than the first. I think I would find most common attribute value most useful for cast and crew and order number for cast copied only if it is the same for all episodes.
A related issue is that the selection for cast is presented sorted by order number then number of appearances then by name (in Last, First order). That may be helpful if the order number is the same for all episodes but it makes it hard to find people if the list is long and the order varies between episodes. For crew where they appear in the credits of some episodes but not others, the order by number of appearances has the same problem. In both cases, being able to sort by name would make it much easier. For crew, being able to sort by occupation in categories where that is significant would also be very useful - the credits tend to be grouped on screen under the occupation so having all the previous credits for that occupation grouped together would be very helpful.
This is motivated by my having to fix order numbers submitted by other contributors that seem to be just copied from the season launch show. I have a pending correction for the order for the launch show that may partially fix the problem but one of the regularly copied credits is correct for the launch show but not for any later episodes and will change as the season progresses.
