I suggest including a bullet point saying something along the lines of: We will make our best efforts only to approve contributions that are accurate and in keeping with IMDb policy.

And something about a best effort only to decline  contributions that we have properly reviewed.

I've seen many, many declined contributions reversed after posting on GS, and some by appealing them via Contact Form. Yet mine still show as "declined" on my contribution history. Given this:
"IMDb tracks each contributor's accuracy over time and if any contributor repeatedly submits data which is inaccurate or which violates our policies, their contributions will require increasing levels of additional proof in order to be processed."
That means IMDb needs to make a best effort before rejecting a contribution. It seems there is a lot of room for improvement in the efforts currently.

And/or they need to update the Contribution History to show the rejection was reversed, especially if it was reversed based on the original evidence submitted.

Where there is doubt it may be better to decline a contribution.

You probably should not assume that every contribution listed as "declined" counts against your tracked accuracy.

I'm sure they deliberately keep their internal systems internal. If you want to ask questions about it, you will probably have better luck in another thread.
