Contributor top tips: What happened to the Index of Field Browsers?

You don't need to go searching for deleted data. It is all there. Anyone can look at it.

All I am suggesting is that on the Contributor Top Tips page at https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/contribution-information/contributor-top-tips/G24YJU8YXNN2BRSY#, there should be an item advising people that they can find indexes of attributes, jobs, locations of filming/birth/death and similar lists that pop up in the update forms at the Google Docs link I provided above.

And, in case anyone is wondering what help the Index of Field Browsers might be, suppose you are entering credits for a film, and you see that someone has a crew credit as a "sheet timer". You don't know what a sheet timer is, so you decide to look through the departments, and you find that there are over 5,000 "sheet timer" credits in the Animation Department, and no other department has more than 1 of them. So you can feel confident in assigning that credit to the Animation Department.

What Ozzy meant by  "we are unable to resurrect the previous data requested" is just that we are unable to resurface the previous Help Guide text that was previously removed.

Even though the Index of field browsers Google doc is still active and accessible, due to our own internal policies and the fact that the same information can also be found in our Contribution form, our preference is not to direct contributors elsewhere.

Your feedback is appreciated and was considered, however, we cannot reinstate the information on the Contributor Top Tips at this time.
