Contributions still pending after estimated time

I've been trying to insert some primary images to new episodes of an anime called Link Click. I made an upload on the 21st August and was informed the photo should be fully processed by the 22nd. We're in the evening of the 23rd and the image is still pending. I checked how things were going in another anime I also follow but don't contribute to on IMDb, called Goodbye Lara, and noticed that the episode that aired today already has its own primary image up. So it took IMDb 8h or less to process this one image.

Why do my requests take so much longer, then? And it's not just about the image I uploaded on the 21st. Of all my Link Click-related contributions, involving new episodes, episode titles, release dates, plot summaries, as well as images, I don't think a single one was accepted in less than 24h. Not all of my contributions are worthless, seeing as many finally got their approval, but it takes so long for IMDb to accept them. My suggestion to add a second episode to the new season was only approved 3 days after the episode had already aired.Can a mod intervene on my behalf? I don't think the one currently in charge of Link Click suggestions is too fond of me.
