Contribution of titles released as Mini-Series and Movie
Is there a guideline for titles, which were released as movies AND as mini series?
I have two examples:
1. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt17057538 is listed as mini series but it was also released as a single movie
2. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387541 is listed as movie, but it was also mini series with two episodes on TV.
For accurate information it would be great to have both information on IMDb, but I don't know how to add these information.
Thanks

It is possible for there to be two separate title entries if a production was released as a movie and as a TV miniseries (with the TV miniseries version typically being significantly longer). Examples include:
Note that in these three examples, the miniseries was at least 105 minutes longer than the theatrical film. By contrast, if both the theatrical and miniseries versions consist of substantially the same content, the title should be listed in IMDb only once, based on whichever way it was released first.
If the versions of the title are indeed significantly different enough that they should be listed separately, please submit the currently unlisted version using the form that starts at https://contribute.imdb.com/updates/edit?update=title and continues on succeeding screens.
Please make sure to include a Movie Connection in your submission to indicate the relationship between the newly listed title and the other title. You will need to check the box marked "To add more data for categories that aren't listed above, select this box" to do so. The connection you will use will be either "edited from" or "edited into" depending on which title you are submitting.
Good luck!
