Contribution approved but pending is not a status

I sent a duplicate comment which was rejected because there was a prior one pending of approval. I understand. But, the issue is that the former's status is 'Approved' but was never published. I do not think a contribution may be in an indefinite quantum state. May you check it? Thank you.
