Consolidating two IMDB pages

Brenbot: You won't need IMDbPro to fix the problem; a regular (free) IMDb account is all you need. The contributors here can give you step by step instructions if you post here the links to your two pages. 

Brendan: Okay, I am assuming that all the credits on both the Brendan Parker (IV) (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm13997688/ ) and Brendan Parker (V) (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm14419171/ ) pages are yours, so here is what to do.

Go to the page for Brendan Parker (V) at https://www.imdb.com/name/nm14419171/ . Click "Edit page".

On the next screen, on the Name Merge line, select "Add merge". Scroll down and click "Continue".

On the next screen, there will be a blank box in which to enter the corrected name. Enter it as:

Parker, Brendan (IV)

Un-check the box marked "Preserve previous name on existing credits. i.e. '(as Brendan Parker)'". It doesn't apply to this situation.

In the Explanation box, enter something like this: "I am Brendan Parker, and my credits have been mistakenly split between two pages with different roman numerals, Brendan Parker (IV) and (V). All the credits on both pages are mine, and so these pages should be merged into one name page as Brendan Parker (IV)." Click "Check these updates".

On the next screen, you will get a warning that says, "You are about to merge two separate name pages into one. Are you sure you wish to merge this name page into the page for Parker, Brendan (IV)? ..." That's what you want, so check the box marked "Warning understood, go ahead anyway." Click "Re-check these updates".

On the next screen, your data should appear with a green background, and you should be able to click "Submit these updates".

Allow a few days for the merge to go through. Good luck!
