Concerted effort to give false negative reviews to a show

A concerted effort to praise, criticize or paint a movie in one particular way or another using IMDb's movie review system is not inherently wrong. However, should sockpuppet accounts be involved, this should be of interest to the reviewing-reading segment of IMDb's visitor/fan/contributor base. The IMDb staff may take action against such accounts, but probably only if they are certainly tied to an individual who is already supposed to be locked out or banned. Also, if a review violates IMDb policy or applicable guidelines, then everybody who be signed into IMDb is more than welcome to report it for abuse or being improperly formatted. If a review violated guidelines but is not otherwise abusive, it may pop up again, though. Likewise, if a review is falsely or inappropriately reported, it may be rightly reinstated and this can sometimes reflect abusive behavior on the part of the person who reported it.
