Company Past Television Credits showing up on IMDb but not IMDb Pro

Hi there -

I submitted company credits for 5 series (26 episode credits) which were approved on 11/06/23 and I can see them when I look them up in IMDb but they aren't showing on IMDb Pro.  It's the first time I've added credits for the company so wasn't sure if I needed to do something different then I do when I add them to my personal profile. :)

Info from the 'Your Contribution' page.     6 November 2023     #231106-234708-890000

https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/231106-234708-890000/?ref_=ra_his_wa

Let me know! I have more credits to add but wanted to make sure it was working before submitting more!

Thank you!
Patrice

Hi @patriceavery

I've reviewed the contributions made and see that they have been successfully added and are appearing as intended on the episodes you've added to. However the missing piece sounds like you may be looking to add the company details to the actual series page, so that it displays on the series page (and company page).

Hope this helps but if you're still having trouble, can you help confirm where they are not showing up for you?

Hi Taylor -

Thanks so much for getting back to me! :)

I had tried to add 5 Series to the credits for Proof and they weren't showing on Proof's IMDbPro page. These are the 5 series/Past Television:

Wheel of Time, s1, ep 1, 2, 4, 7, 8
The Blacklist, s7-ep19
Peacemaker, ep. 1-8
Stranger Things, s4. ep. 6,7,9
Shape Island, ep. 1-8

As of today, Shape Island is now showing on Proof's IMDbPro page and the Series/Company page but the other 4 aren't. https://pro.imdb.com/company/co0156110/filmography/?ref_=co_ov_kf_header

Yesterday, all of the episodes were listed on Proof's regular IMDb (not Pro) as well as

The Stand, s1 ep 1, 2, 5, 9 (submitted previously). https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?companies=co0156110&sort=alpha,asc

Trying to figure out how to get them to show up on the both the IMDb and IMDb Pro Proof pages and ideally the Series/Company pages. :)

Let me know if that clarifies the question or anything else I can do.

Thanks,

Patrice

Hi @patriceavery -

Thanks for confirming the additional details.  I filed a ticket (#P106245555) for our tech team to investigate further, as soon as I have an update I will post the information here.

Hi @patriceavery -

My apologies for the delayed response.  I just reviewed the ticket and can see that it is still open and pending prioritization; unfortunately, I cannot provide a timeframe as to when it will be prioritized, but I will add a comment to help give it a visibility push.

Thanks for your patience!

Thanks, Michelle! :)

Just to test it again, I also added episodes 101 thru 104 for Monarch: Legacy of Monsters and it's showing up on Proof's IMDb page but not Proof's IMDbPro page. It's so weird. :)

Thanks again!

@patriceavery

I think you should go ahead and add the company to the series pages (without selecting episodes). You can probably also add multiple series in one submission if you start from the Pro company profile. You can include attributes to indicate the extent of the company's involvement (such as years or season numbers).

IMDb have confirmed before that company credits only added to episodes are currently not intended to be displayed on Pro company profiles. It is also evident that company episode credits aren't summarized on series company pages as cast and crew are. You shouldn't wait for IMDb to change their programming or policies.

Also note that when you add company credits to episodes you see this text: "While data in this category can be added at the episode level, you should try to enter it at the main series level if at all possible."
