Clarification re: Voice credits, cast vs. other vs. not at all

Hello,

I was just looking for clarification on voice credits.

According to guidelines:

They must have been credited in the cast section of the end titles (i.e. no 'background voices' or ADR work). This means that only main cast voices are eligible for a cast credit. ADR/looping/background voices must be submitted as Miscellaneous (Other) Crew credits. When in doubt, send it as a Miscellaneous (Other) Crew credit.
But I see things like, "Big Hero 6," cast list:

that sometimes there are "(voice) (uncredited)" attributes for someone doing a particular character but not credited with cast (and not at all).  It seems to me that it would not be eligible for listing at all, or at least be moved to "other" department.

Which would be more appropriate? I guess my 'doubt' means "other," but it also seems not to be eligible and I wonder why "(voice)" and "(uncredited)" are really even approved together within cast.

Hi there,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We've updated our guide with the following clarification (which was already listed in the 'voice' guide):

"Additional Voice credits are permitted for animated titles or videogames as long as they are listed within, or immediately after, the main cast list."

Hopefully this helps clarify the situation.
