Changing the priorities of "known fors"?

I often see the top "known for" matches for celebrities to not include the things they ARE known for. Is there a way to change them?

I've been cleaning up a holiday show called "Wish You Were Here...?". Pretty dull show really, but it deserves to be fully represented. Judith Chalmers - https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0150030 - must have hosted well over 200-300 episodes of it. (I'm still getting round to that bit.)

She'd sometimes play "herself" in sitcoms, often referencing Wish You Were Here. It's THE thing she's known for. Admittedly, right now she's only listed against 36 episodes so it's not as clear as it should - like I say, I'm working on it. But it's at least 80% of her TV appearances.

Hi MovieCat-

There are many factors at play through a complex weighting system that results in changes to the 'Known For' titles on a person's name page. Each title in the filmography is given a "weight" based on these factors. For more detailed information about how the selection is determined you can review the information on our following Help Guide.

Since this is an entirely mathematical approach, some of our Known For choices may occasionally not be the best or most representative ones

As per changes, these cannot be updated without an IMDbPro Premium membership and only the respective claimed name page owners are able to update the 'Known For' titles selection on their IMDb pages.

Cheers!

@Maya Ah, so only Judith herself could put the changes in?

Does the system ever auto update based on the maths? I'm figuring when I get this mission complete the maths should favour this show as it's at least 60% of her career.

@MovieCat - Correct, only the name page owners. As per the second question, yes, it will depend on the weighting system.

@Maya I imagine the Absolutely Fabulous movie will hold more weight than a 80s TV show, even though I assume she's parodying her role in that movie.
