Changing a character's name over 50+ episodes?
I know how to do this, but surely there's a quicker way?
I've been tidying up the entry on The Sweeney (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0071059/reference/) which has a shocking number of errors, including nearly every episode duration being wrong.
However, the main characters are only ever credited onscreen as follows:
John Thaw - Regan
Dennis Waterman - Carter
Garfield Morgan - Haskins
I've added a trivia note that although their full character names are given within the show, they only get this credit onscreen. But to amend 50+ episodes is a LOT of work.

Are you using Chrome? There is an extension that lets you do a search and replace. Using the actor's name page, you can open all the incorrect credits and then substitute the correct credits easily.
Edit: I was able to change all 3 actors' credits in a matter of a few minutes. Maybe those 150+ edits will help me place higher in this month's leaderboard.
