Cast order between on screen credits and person named in dialogue

I'm in the process of entering the cast of [link=tt0282912], a totally forgotten movie that will eventually be of interest to rock'n'roll music fans. I re-read IMDb guides for cast submissions, but it does not solve my problem. Between the Opening credits and the End credits (easy to enter in that order!) there is the movie proper, where two situations happen:

a) People appear with their name or an AKA, and their name is in the dialogue - in an order different than that used in the credits; should I forget it, and keep them in the printed credits order, or reposition them?

b) People appear with their name credited on screen along with their performance (in the present case, either as singers or wrestlers) either duplicating a print credit, or in addition to the two credit listings; again, what to do?

I ask this because the same situations all the time, and I witnessed many in documentaries, TV shows... So, may be an addition explanation about the ordering entry in the Guides would be beneficial for more users.

Thanks.

Hello artemis_9

We list credits based on the onscreen listing found in the movie or show (usually the end credits), to answer question A, yes keep the order as found in the end credits, as mentioned in the Credit Order guideline.

For the "performance" or "character" you have a place to enter the position or character that was performed and you can add it to specify (either as singers or wrestlers), as showed in the Cast/acting guidelines.

@Fran Thanks, but my problem is not about the role or character, because all are easy. Also, forget about opening credits and end credits, because in this movie they add each other perfectly, no repetitions or other oddities! I'll illustrate my wuestion with two examples from the movie:

Problem a) is:

Mister Gookman (character: Mellow TV Presenter) is named in dialogue in the first 10 seconds of the movie. I believe should be counted as being credited on screen (taking sound as part of screen...) so I would enter him #1-

Mister Gookman - the very same - is credited in position #17 of the combined opening and end credits.

What is the correct option?

Another situation:

Buzz Sawyer is identified in dialogue in the middle of the movie, but he is not in the credits lists. I think it's not fair to use the attribute Uncredited... Do I enter him in the Cast, without an order number? There are a dozen of more of these!

The correct option is number 17, we list based on credits, not the dialogue.

For the second situation, the person has to be submitted with "uncredited" since is not in the credits. You can submit as Cast, however it must have "uncredited".
