Solved

Cast members moved to "self" incorrectly.

My film Standout: The Ben Kjar story recently had a few of our cast that perform in reenactments moved to the "Self" category. I've added reenactment to the plot keywords, as I saw in another thread that needs to be done with documentaries. But I don't see a way to move those cast members back to their correct category. The cast listed with roles are the ones that should be moved. Any clues on how to make this adjustment? Thanks!

Hi tannerchristensen- For further instructions on how to move them back, you can review our following Help Guide below. Specifically, look under question #17 "Why do some acting credits show up in a separate list under a category called "Self" even if those people didn't actually appear as themselves?:" https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/filmography-faqs/GXXHC234LLGMKTEE?ref_=helpart_nav_6# Cheers!

Hi tannerchristensen, 💡 You need to move credits from the Self to the Cast section. A step-by-step: 1️⃣ Click "Edit page", then on submission page use two drop-downs: 1️⃣↪ for Cast section select the number of credits to add (to move from the Self); 1️⃣↪ for Self section select "Correct/Delete"; 2️⃣ Click "Continue"; 3️⃣ Copy-paste all the credits you want from the bottom "Self" into the top "Cast" section; 4️⃣*️⃣[optional] Check the box "Correct/Delete" at right top of Cast if you want to see all the previously added cast members; 5️⃣ In the Self section, select "Delete" in all drop-downs for the persons moved to "Cast" section; 6️⃣ Click "Check these updates"; 7️⃣ In the Explanation fields with red background, type what you need (for example, "Move this credit to the acting Cast"); 8️⃣ Click "Re-check these updates" and follow further instructions.
