Can't correct alternate title because "country hasn't existed that time"

I've tried to fix russian title of https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0076998/, but failed with error message: "The place called Russia was not known under that name on 1979. Please select the appropriate historical location name for that date". (attributes are Country/Language: Russia; Attribute: imdb display title) I've tried to fix it from "Д'Артаньян и три мушкетёра" to "Д'Артаньян и три мушкетера". It's more common and universal to use "е"-letter instead of "ё". Also it's like on poster. And just more official. But I can't do it because of that strange error. Why?

Hi Livonye - Thanks for reporting and including a screen grab of the Warning.  I have now manually made the Alternate Title text adjustment, the change should be live on the site shortly.  I have also filed a ticket for the appropriate team to review this Contribution Form Warning. Cheers!

Russia didn't exist in 1979. Russia has only been around since 1991, before that, it was called the Sovjet Union. That's probably the reason you got an error message.

But a film from 1979 can have a Russian title today. IMDb "are now encouraging the submission of an imdb display title for all known countries."
