Can't correct actor's gender after page merge

While merging a duplicate page into an actor's main one this week, the gender of the actor was changed from male to female. This happened because the duplicate page erroneously listed him as female. I know that the second page was made for him though because a recent show he had a role on was credited there and the credits for this show in general were a mess. Somebody went through and added a lot of credits for various actors/writers/producers on the show but the issue was almost all of them already had existing IMDB pages. So about 15 duplicate pages had been created for no reason. I spent a lot of time deleting the credits from the duplicate pages and adding them where they belonged. After I did merges to get rid of the duplicates since that's the only way to do that because there's still no option to delete a page entirely. I'm aware that the add gender option exists. Problem is, I did that yesterday and the gender change submission was approved this morning (220726-171726-908000) yet hours later the page still lists him as female. So it seems now, for whatever reason, this page will not revert back to male even through an add gender submission. An alternate name attribute was also oddly wiped from the page after the merge even though you still see this attribute if you go to edit the acting credits. Who would have thought merging what was ultimately a blank page by the time I merged it would become such a mess? This is the page in question.

In a second merging disaster, I merged another duplicate page for a different actor and made sure to UNCHECK the "preserve all existing credits" option but nonetheless they still all transferred over anyway. Apparently other people have posted on here saying the same thing has happened to them as well when merging pages. So a bunch of incorrect attributes that don't reflect how he was actually credited were added because of the merge despite me attempting to avoid that. I tried removing the attributes but as I anticipated all of those submissions were declined (220726-200746-930000). Can those be removed?

Hi NPLxo -

I just reviewed the name page for "Dominique Johnson (VI)" and can confirm that the gender has since been corrected to male.

Concerning the page listing for "Oshea Russell", the name attribute should only be removed from titles where the performer is credited on-screen under the name "Oshea Russell".  Can you confirm which specific episode titles were recently merged where the name attribute no longer applies?
