Cannot link project to award

Hello, I was a nominee (semi-finalist) for a New York Script Award for the script of my pilot "The Proxy Mom" - IMDB title/tt14016030. But the old name of the project (The Proxy Cure Sizzle Reel) is the only one coming up in the pull-down title menu to link the project. I of course do not want that to appear as it has been retitled "The Proxy Mom," both the pilot and the script. IMDB contributions is not letting me go forward without choosing the old name of the project. I of course do not want that to appear as it has been retitled "The Proxy Mom," both in the proof of concept pilot and the script, and has this nomination under that name. Can you please help? I have proof/confirmation of The Proxy Mom and it's status from the New York Script Awards web page.

It won't make a difference which title is displayed in the award form, so you can go ahead and submit the award. To change the title of the series you would have to submit a title correction. Currently the series listing has the original title The Proxy Cure Sizzle Reel and the alternative US display title The Proxy Mom. That means the latter title is displayed to most US users, but the former title is displayed to others.

Thanks for replying. So if I choose "The Proxy Cure Sizzle Reel" as the project, it will actually display "The Proxy Mom"? This is important because the winner was "The Proxy Mom," a script, not a reel. I will try choosing "The Proxy Cure Sizzle Reel," and explain in notes that it should display "The Proxy Mom," as of course the script is not a reel - it is me as the writer that has been chosen. Do you think this will work? Thank you

@mariesmalley- I can see that the title has now been corrected https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14016030/ but you can still go ahead submit this award and our editors will review it.

Hello, I'm following up on my Awards listings, which are all in place. However, while the winning "The Proxy Mom" script title is correct in the "The Proxy Mom" page, and in the regular IMDB page for me, Marie Smalley, the project title is incorrect in awards on the Marie Smalley IMDBpro page - my winning script "The Proxy Mom" shows up as "The Proxy Cure Sizzle Reel (????). In this thread, some days ago, I was concerned because that old title is what comes up in the pull down project menu when I submit awards data, and this project has been renamed and copyrighted for the script and the reel with the Library of Congress, and for script, with the WGA. How can we fix this? I have screenshots I can send you as proof (pngs), if there's a way to do that. Also, is there a way to get rid of the old name? I know many films have their name changed and the old name does not appear. This project, both as "The Proxy Cure Sizzle Reel" and "The Proxy Mom" is not released or distributed in any way, or even screened, and I would very much like the old name "The Proxy Cure Sizzle Reel" removed - it's confusing, esp. now that "The Proxy Mom" is getting attention. But first and foremost, can we fix the incorrect title in the awards section of my IMDBpro page? Thank you! Marie Smalley

Hello Maya, Are you able to check an award submission? Last week I submitted two, but only one has been added. Here is the contribution number for the one that is not yet linked to my IMDB profile/project: 251023-152850-004000 It is a Nominee award in "Prague's IndieMania Film Awards" in your events pages. Here is what was included with my submission to confirm: "You can confirm the categories and the nomination on the festival's website: https://indiemania-prague.com/ -(scroll down to where screenplay categories begin, and you will see 'Best Drama" and my nomination) Also, I have confirmation through the links below. Thank you!" https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fFiu4fl9b6u0W-I_h8zX1wvh9HsCdsyw/view?usp=drive_link (email confirmation) https://drive.google.com/file/d/1qCZMs1MJgnTtjzIdx_RO5T1z5wKNjiPy/view?usp=sharing (website screenshot)

Hi mariesmalley- I have just reviewed it and this one wasn't added since it was rejected for being formatted incorrectly. On the 'Award' section of the contribution form, you can either select the awards from the drowpdown menu or if the particular award is not listed yet, you can add it on the text-box but it has to follow the structure from the ones on the dropdown menu. So for example on this event, the Awards we have live and listed on the drop-down follow the structure of: Best Character Design, Best Animated Film, Best Episodic Series....and so on. In this case, I can see that 'Best Drama' is not on the list so this was the award that needed to be added on the text-box for the Award section insted of 'Nominee.' Now, this correction has been done on your behalf and submitted. The award has now been approved and will be live on the site shortly. Hope this helps! Cheers!
