Solved

can you please create a DIRECT link to your info source, Webedia?

the link posted by michelle (hi!) takes you to the main site,  where you have to hunt for the proper info.....

Oops.

Please verify and post the correct email address and create a MAILTO: link which is

properly formatted, thanks.

PS nice editor! but the textbox needs to be sizeable, s'hard to read text you just wrote if'n it's

not displayed.....

Hi Criticatlarge-

In order for us to assist you further with your question and to understand it, what exactly do you need a link to? Or which link are you referring to?

Cheers!

@Maya

 Hello. I performed a local search on theatres and discovered that the Century (Evanston, IL) is still listed. It's been closed for years...

The instructions indicate that one should contact Webedia to report incorrect listings  but the link supplied is not a direct link, it merely takes you to BOXOFFICE.COM.

You still need to scroll down to obtain the correct addy, which is umm not a clickable link, just a text addy (should be an active link).

So my request is for IMDb to amend the link you present so that it is in the form of a MAILTO:.

That's a direct link, Maya.

And, again, your textbox(es) should be sizeable...

Thank you, have a nice week.

@Maya

 Talk to Michelle.

She posted an answer to HOW DO I REPORT A CLOSED THEATRE.

The "direct link" she specified is Not 'direct', it needs to be in

the form of a MAILTO: link....

So..

1. (How) can we contact folks like Michelle directly? there doesn't seem to be a link for that..

2. your "search' engine needs to be upgraded so it does not

perform vanilla, brute-force searches.

 The answer to the 'how do I report a dead theater?' question should be a link on each and every theatre's detail page that says

         IS THIS THEATRE STILL OPEN? IF NOT, CLICK HERE.

So your umm 'help' pages are...not well designed. If I search for the answer to this question I should see 5 answers at most, not pages of unrelated posts.

And, again, have your IT / webfolk make THIS TEXT BOX sizeable. it's not very well designed even  if the Editor is pretty good....it's still quite difficult to use.

Just HIRE ME to review your website. I'm certain there's LOTS of stuff needing alteration and revision.....

Jeez, Louise.
