Can someone please add Papua New Guinea classification certificates to IMDB?

@gromit82​ I don’t think there is one. However, the website for PNG’s only cinema, Paradise Cinema in Port Moresby, has movie classifications on the site:

So basically here are some examples of films currently in cinemas with the classification in Papua New Guinea and (for comparison) Australia:

• G - nothing in cinemas yet
• PGR - Puss in Boots: The Last Wish (PG in Australia), Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (M in Australia)
• MA - Avatar: The Way of Water (M in Australia)
• R - I Wanna Dance with Somebody (M in Australia)

Papua New Guinean ratings are often a bit higher than those in countries like Australia or New Zealand as the country is very Christian.

Going back in the Wayback Machine, here are some more classifications:

• G - Combat Wombat, Dreambuilders, Maya the Bee 3: Golden Orb, Turning Red
• PGR - Death on the Nile, Dragon Rider, Earwig and the Witch, Elvis, Encanto, Eternals, Greenland, Honest Thief, Jiang Ziya: Legend of Deification, Jurassic World: Dominion, Lightyear, Marry Me, Minions: Rise of Gru, Monster Hunter, Soul, The Croods: A New Age, The Batman, The Desperate Hour, The Marksman, The Rescue, The War with Grandpa, The Witches, Top Gun: Maverick, Wonder Woman 1984, Tom & Jerry, Uncharted
