Can I Get Credit if the Producer Hates Me?

I was video producer for two years on a successful podcast that has an IMDB page. After I left the show and joined his rival's, the host/producer became acrimonious.

I know he would never approve of me adding a credit as video producer to the IMDb account of the show. But there's plenty of evidence (like me literally appearing on camera with him and him referring to me by name). Is there a way where IMDb will honor my credit without the host/producer's approval?

Axiomcon: It makes no difference whether the host/producer now wants you to be listed in IMDb. The past episodes are what they are, and if you worked on those episodes, then you worked on them. He can't retroactively change that. Without even taking into consideration the podcast world, there are lots of television shows where cast members, producers, etc. fell out of favor with each other and got fired, but they are still entitled to IMDb listing for the episodes that they worked on before then.

If you are not already listed in IMDb, then I recommend starting by adding your credit to those episodes of the podcast where you were credited by name (i.e. your name appeared in the on-screen credits).

If you need further instructions, please provide full details about the situation (examples: who you are, what show it is, what job you had).

Appearing on screen and being named as described in the original post means being eligible for a cast credit on that episode in addition to any crew credits. A screenshot would be good evidence. If the podcast has subtitles generated from the audio and the name is included that is even better.

if the podcast is available online without needing a subscription, give a link to it and it is likely that one of the experienced contributors here will take a look and give you detailed advice or take the opportunity to boost their score by adding credits themselves.
