camera and grip and electrical department

Have look at any callsheet around the world.  There are 3 different departments.  Camera, Grip and Electrical.  I am a Grip. I am not camera or electrical. Only takes a handful of letters to add "and grip" to our department.

I have wrote IMDB about this on several occasions over a the last 10 years.

It makes absolutely zero sense they combined three different on set departments into one category on IMDB.

Sound gets their own department and they have 3 people on set, 4 if they are lucky.

Camera has 8-20+ on any one show.

Grip has several dozen on any one show

Electric has several dozen on any one show.

The 3 departments are in different unions and the jobs are NOT interchangeable.

Yet Art Department gets 4 separate category listings for Production Designer, Art Directors, Set Decorators, and Art Department.  And all 4 of those Departments work under the same person (The Production Designer) and all 4 of those departments are under the same union and technically all in the same department....the Art Department and the jobs are interchangeable as Art Directors work as Production Designers, Set Decorators work as Art Directors, etc etc.

Yet for some reason, IMDB refuses to right this glaringly bad wrong on their website by putting Camera, Grip, and Electric all in the same category, yet they are in no way the same.
