Box Office Mojo Adjusted Grosses

On the Box Office Mojo list of highest grossing films adjusted for inflation, Spider-Man: No Way Home appears at 809 (https://www.boxofficemojo.com/chart/top_lifetime_gross_adjusted/?adjust_gross_to=2022&offset=800). It has actual gross of $814m and adjusted gross of $163m. I don't understand how the adjusted gross can be so much lower than the actual gross - the film came out last year, there should be no adjustment for inflation, let alone such a big deflationary adjustment?

This seems to be an issue for all films from 2020 onwards - Top Gun: Maverick, Avatar: The Way of Water, etc. are all missing from the list entirely?

I guess that's why they have again taken that chart off the menu at

@Peter_pbn & @aaron15 -

So if I understood correctly, this is no longer visible? Is it still an issue? So I can report to our BOMOJO team.

Thanks!

@Bethanny

Well, the chart is there and can be found through Google, and it would of course be best if it could be corrected and updated.

@Peter_pbn Thanks for the clarification, I have now reported the issue. Will keep you both posted with any updates.

Cheers!
