Birth name confirmation

Has anyone found a workaround for updating one's own personal details - eg birth name, date of birth - when no records of confirmation can be found online?

If there are no reputable online sources to verify your birthname or birthdate (ie. public records, printed sources, etc.), you can alternatively help verify your data by uploading private documents directly to IMDb within the submission form (such as a copy of your passport, birth certificate, official documents, etc.):

@BradT Hi-

When you are on the name page on IMDb.com and you scroll down to where it says "Edit page", once you click on it will take you to the Contribution form and you will have to scroll down again to look for where it says "Biographical Information."

You will find "Date of Birth" as the third option and then you will select Add 1 item in order to continue. This will take you directly to this specific data submission and this is where you will fill out all the birth information (plus the link to upload evidence to IMDb).
