BIPOC rating

I suggest adding "BIPOC rating" field for all new titles submitted from from Aug 2020.

Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) rating system will grade titles according to their adherence to BIPOC and anti-racist policies. Titles with a higher percentage of BIPOC people in cast and production will receive the higher rating. For example, 90% of BIPOC means 9, and 10% means 1.

Titles produced in countries where Caucasians are indigenous people (e.g. Europe) will be rated according to number of POC contributors (People of Color) and Caucasians won't be counted as indigenous people.

This proposal is in line with the BIPOC declaration that demands deconstruction of anti-Blackness and racism, which can be found here:

Theatermakers of color call white theater to account for systemic racism
Months after disease made theaters go dark, dissent demands that theaters see the light.

Hi Aba Skeiron and dijec,

In the future please post the full URL instead of the shortened URL. Unfortunately, unscrupulous people continue to post links to malware, spam, illegal streaming video sites and other undesirable content using URL Shorteners. It is not easy to distinguish between legitimate links and undesirable links with shortened URLs.

Notes:

1. I am a long time user of IMDb not an IMDb staff member. What I post may not be IMDb's official policy.

2. I am not the person who originally questioned the validity of the URL that Aba Skeiron.

3. Once someone responds to a post, only an admin can edit that post on Get Satisfaction.

4. When I clicked on the shortened URL, Norton Security identified it as a malicious site. I edited the original post to replace the shortened URL with the full URL.

Aba: The linked article, which is about live theater, doesn't even mention the idea of a "BIPOC rating" as a concept.

They do not mention it, but the IMDB as the Amazon company (who is  financially supporting BLM) must be pro-active.
